“Life is a desire” Art journal page. Project for a month:face 26.

Today I actually will show you “before” and “after” images to demonstrate how I did “find” the face on the pre painted (with acrylics) background. The darkest spot on the left top corner looks like a Charlie Chaplin’s hat! I just used black paint and a liner brush to make a simple sketch of the Charlie Chaplin’s portrait. This is actually my primarily method of sketching, I do not use a pencil, seldom – charcoal. More often I sketch with the acrylic paint. Any imperfections or mistakes can be painted over, which is impossible to do with watercolors, for example. That is why I find acrylics as more forgiving and convenient for the art journaling.So here is the page “before”:
