“Find a face” #4.

For the June 4th I have chosen a face from the Picasso’s 1906 painting “Boy leading a horse” as an inspiration and a painting exercise. First, I just like the face on this famous painting. Second, I can enter this Art journal page to the Monthly “Modern masters challenge” at http:// artjournaling.ning.com.
This Art journal page is painted with acrylics on recycled brown paper (from the groceries bag), that is why there is a creas line on the paper. Underpainting was done with orange (Cadmium Yellow+Raw sienna)color.

I like the moody look of this guy. I enjoy painting on paper bags, too, and black gesso on a paper bag makes a super under-paint. Nice painting!
